Paediatric Dentist B.Sc D.D.S Dip. Paed. Dent | Etobicoke

Dr. Dennis Krmec received his Honours B.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Toronto in 1981. In 1986 he graduated from the University of Zagreb’s Faculty of Dentistry. He completed his specialty training in Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry in 1990.

He has been a clinical lecturer at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry. Dr. Krmec has been a clinical instructor in the Graduate Program in Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry SurgiCenter. He is currently a Director of the Canadian Dental Protective Association. He is the Senior Dentist Risk Manager at CDPA. He is Chief, Division of Dentistry, Department of Surgery, William Osler Health System. He is a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Krmec maintains a full-time clinical practice limited to Paediatric Dentistry in Toronto.

Dr. Krmec has spent his entire career enjoying the privilege of treating kids and in his spare time enjoys participating in a variety of sports and travelling with his family.

Dr. Matt Grinstein

General Dentist, Practicing Limited to Children | Thornhill and Toronto

Dr. Matt graduated from dentistry at the University of Western Ontario in 2008. After graduation, he spent two years treating children at the Hospital for Sick Children and the University of Toronto Pediatric department.

A major goal of Dr. Matt is to create a fun environment for the children he treats, in the hopes of making their dental experiences positive. With training in dental trauma, special needs and sedation, he looks forward to treating your children, whatever their dental needs. He prides himself in taking the time to explain to parents the state of their children’s mouths and discusses in detail how one can take better care and prevent the start of tooth decay and other oral problems.

Dr. Matt enjoys lecturing to dentists on various topics related to pediatric dentistry. He has completed his Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training and has extensive experience treating hundreds of cases of sedation services for kids under general anesthesia.

He enjoys both playing and watching sports as well as married life and raising his dog Bentley. In May 2011, he welcomed the birth of his first child Jake.

Dr. Harpreet Bhullar

General Practitioner | Etobicoke

Dr. Harpreet Bhullar was born and raised in Winnipeg and graduated from University of Manitoba Dental School in 2018. She practiced general dentistry in Winnipeg and rural Manitoba before moving to Toronto in 2021.

She is looking forward to getting to know her patients so feel free to share your experiences in Toronto or ask her about her travels and her gym schedule!

Dr. Clifford Simon

Orthodontist | Thornhill and Toronto

Originally from Montréal, Dr. Simon earned his dental degree from McGill University in 1987. After graduation, he worked as a general dentist for 4 years with the James Bay Cree of Northern Quebec. In 1994, Dr. Simon continued his professional education at Philadelphia’s Temple University in orthodontic training.

Since 1995, Dr. Simon has been practicing orthodontics in Toronto with Dr. Rubinoff and continues to serve as Chief Orthodontist to the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay, Quebec.

Dr. Simon considers including orthodontic evaluation and treatment in a children-focused dental practice to be a great benefit to the patient, in terms of early treatment needs and oral hygiene reinforcement. An avid traveller, he enjoys visiting new countries, experiencing new cultures and photographing everything for future memories.

Dr. Rob Milkovich

MD, CCFP Anesthesia | Etobicoke, Thornhill and Toronto

Dr. Rob Milkovich graduated from the University of Toronto medical school in 1995 and completed his residency in Family Medicine with further training in anesthesia at Queen’s University in Kingston in 1998. After initially practicing Emergency Medicine for 10 years he has been practicing anesthesia in Orangeville, Ontario at Headwaters Healthcare Centre as well as William Osler Healthcare Centre in Brampton since 1998. He has a special interest in out-of-hospital anesthesia.

Dr. Amanda Noyek

Orthodontist | Etobicoke

Dr. Amanda Noyek is passionate about orthodontics and committed to providing top-quality care. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Western University and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University, graduating with honors. Dr. Noyek continued her training at Temple University, where she received a Master’s in Oral Health Sciences and a Certificate in Orthodontics. She was a finalist in the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics’ Student of the Year Competition.

Outside of work, Dr. Noyek enjoys spending time by the lake, baking, and being with loved ones. She’s excited to be part of the Treehouse Dental team and help create beautiful smiles!

Dr. Parisa Akhavan

General Practitioner, Limited to Children’s Dentistry | Toronto

Dr. Parisa Akhavan graduated as a Pediatric dentist specialist from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. She took a complementary academic fellowship course in “Hospital Dentistry” at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and was actively involved in dental treatment for numerous young children and children with special needs under sedation and general anesthesia.

She practiced Pediatric Dentistry for over 20 years by providing comprehensive dental care for the pediatric patients from a very young age through adolescence. Besides, she was a university faculty member and as an assistant professor, worked with many graduate and post graduate university students.

After moving to Canada, Dr. Parisa successfully completed the NDEB Equivalency Process and National Board Examination and obtained her license. She continues to practice general dentistry in Canada as a Dental Associate in Ontario, servicing all aspects of dental care for pediatric patients. Dr. Parisa is a proud member of Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, and Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.

 In her spare time Dr. Parisa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, swimming and traveling.

Dr. Alison Kliman

General Practitioner | Thornhill and Toronto

Dr. Alison is dedicated to making dental visits fun and stress-free for children of all ages. She focuses on building nurturing, trusting relationships while delivering top-quality care. As a general dentist with an emphasis on preventive care, her goal is to help children develop a lifetime of good dental health.

Dr. Alison graduated with distinction in Science and Psychology from Western University before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2013. She completed her General Practice Residency at the Hospital for Sick Children in 2016, gaining valuable experience in treating dental trauma, as well as caring for children with special needs and complex medical conditions.

Outside of work, Dr. Alison enjoys spending time with her family, including her three young children.
