The opportunity:

We are looking for a Part-Time Dental Assistant to join Treehouse Dental Care in Toronto, specializing in children’s dentistry. The successful candidate will have a passion for building strong patient relationships and contributing to their ongoing oral health. As a CDA at this practice, you will have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from a strong team of dental professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Clinical chairside assisting duties including knowledge of instrumentation
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour
• Cleans and prepares treatment room in accordance with infection control and practice protocols for each patient
• Detailed understanding of practice health and safety requirements

Requirements:

• Certified Dental Assistant
• Previous experience considered an asset

Job Description

The opportunity:

We are currently looking to hire a PART-TIME Registered Dental Hygienist to join our busy and well-established Pediatric practice in Thornhill, ON. The successful RDH candidate will have a passion for building strong patient relationships and contributing to their ongoing oral health. As a RDH at this practice, you will have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from a strong team of dental professionals.

Schedule:

Every Tuesday and every other Wednesday 7:30 am -5 pm

(every Wednesday possible at another location)

Responsibilities:

• Appropriately assesses, plans, implements and evaluates services for patient care
• Performs all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling
• Providing consistent patient experience during hygiene visit
• Establishes strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behavior
• Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations
• Demonstrate active listening and empathy to patients using effective communication skills
• Ability to work with children of all ages and needs

Requirements:

• Registered Dental Hygienist
• Previous experience considered an asset
